“A real sign of progress is when we no longer punish ourselves for our imperfections” – Yung Pueblo

Imperfection is a part of the human condition.  In some cultures, a damaged or broken item is viewed as more precious than it was in its pristine form.  So, if this is the case, then why do we judge, berate, or punish ourselves for this naturally occurring process?  This is a question that only you can answer for yourself.

One might argue that we progress in our growth when we are able to embrace our humanness.  We can do this through radical acceptance, taking a non-judgmental stance and having a willingness to embrace our history and our growth.
